Next event: Understanding the COVID-19 Tenant Protection Act of 2020
Join Paulina and Josué Barrios, in concert with the Greater Downey Association of REALTORS® to discuss new landlording rules ushered in by Assembly Bill 3088.
Events to help you keep pace with new laws and rules for landlords and investors, property managers, and real estate professionals
Our team leader, Paulina Martignon, is renowned for giving educational seminars to groups seeking clarity on ever-changing laws and ordinances relating to rental properties. We have to tell you that the past 18 months or so have been the most complicated time ever in landlord-tenant law.
First, we had statewide rent and eviction controls in the form of Assembly Bill 1482, then we had the pandemic. Then we had counties and cities coming up with their own patchwork of ordinances to protect tenants during the public health crisis. Then we recently had the COVID-19 Tenant Protection Act of 2020 take effect immediately.
This all can be like taking a drink out of a fire hose, but Paulina can break all of it down in an easily digestible fashion.
Adjusting to the new normal
Although MT Evictions has always preferred to take the personal approach and speak live in front of your team, these are not normal times we live in. Whether on Facebook Live or Zoom meetings, we have become comfortable with the new way of communicating what landlords, property managers, and real estate professionals need to know to survive and thrive in a very fluid landscape.

There is no shortage of subjects to talk about, and we like to answer questions and make it a group discussion.
